Hallmarking
is an internationally recognised endorsement of purity and quality, which
is applied to all of our aircraft at the London Assay Office where the
silver is tested to determine its grade. Typically the hallmark is stamped
onto the side of the fuselage.
MAKERS
OR SPONSORS MARK This
mark indicates the organisation responsible for the production of the aircraft
and is unique to that organisation. In our case the letters SV represent
the two directors of Diverse Images.
SILVER

The Lion mark shows that the metal used is silver.
FINENESS

To show the purity of the silver, in this case 92.5% purity
the 925 mark is used this is the required grade for sterling silver.
LONDON

Each assay office has its own mark, the mark of the London
assay office is the leopards head.
DATE

is used to represent the year of hallmarking.
